About Me
I am a designer based in Melbourne, Australia specialising in creating dramatic, gothic and alternative headwear and accessories, both ready to wear and custom made. The main inspirations for my headpieces are history, mythology and nature. My day job is in IT - I'm a geek of many domains!

Coming from a self-taught costuming background, I have an interest in period fashion, musical theatre, cosplay and Japanese lolita fashion. I've been dressing up and going to costume events for almost 10 years in my handmade costumes, and have performed in four local theatre productions often assisting with costumes.

Towards the end of 2016, I had the opportunity to work with a lady who had trained with a milliner in Sydney, and haven't turned back since. I started going to a few local classes and workshops in Melbourne, and experimented with my own designs and techniques using stiffened lace.

Within 6 months, I built my brand and website, and applied for a few local conventions. I was accepted to exhibit as an artist at Oz Comic-Con Melbourne. My next artist trading event is SMASH! Sydney Manga and Anime Show from August 19-20, 2017 at Rosehill Gardens.
