hi, I’m new here and would really appreciate some advice. I bought my first wooden hat form. I order it in size 58cm. When i got it it was actually 58.4 cm. The person I bought it from says that’s normal for it to be not exactly 58cm. Is this true?…Continue

I wonder if anyone can help. I know that silk abaca can be dyed “a colour”is it possible to dye it white. I know it’s difficult to get a lighter colour unless “bleaching” of some sort, which would damage the fabric. But is there a gentle “white” dye…Continue

"My Mum always makes sure I use the same tape measure when I'm giving her measurements for hats LOL.  i had no idea when first starting 20 years ago that the material/fabric used to actually make a tape measure would affect the size…"
