Buntal linen

Very excited to get 1/2 a meter of the linen to play with.  Is there anything that I should know before I start to play.  I have not worked with this material before.  I usually work with sinamay, crinoline and felt, and though it was time to step out side the box.   I have seen so many wonderful creations using this material, not a lot to play with I know, but for the price, I don't want to waste money.Can it be stiffened with gelatin??Any suggestions, advice, techniques would be greatly…See More

I have some great classes ready to film on flowers in straws fabric + tooling flowers. Later how to dye ++ Another artisan will teach leather flowers + but she has no time until next year to film.

Did I tell you I put 4 kids through Uni by making headwear - our home looked like a factory but it was great to be there for them in teen years- all professionals now ....no milliners !!!
