Very excited to get 1/2 a meter of the linen to play with.  Is there anything that I should know before I start to play.  I have not worked with this material before.  I usually work with sinamay, crinoline and felt, and though it was time to step out side the box.   I have seen so many wonderful creations using this material, not a lot to play with I know, but for the price, I don't want to waste money.

Can it be stiffened with gelatin??

Any suggestions, advice, techniques would be greatly appreciated.
