They're unique, under appreciated, and an art. I was lucky to study in London for millinery and continue since.
About Me
I studied at Western Michigan University for a B.S. for Textile and Apparel Design. My program took me to AIU, now Regent's University, in London where I had my first millinery course with Prudence, a wonderful instructor and mentor.
My first studio was in my small hometown of Pentwater, Michigan, USA. A lovely quaint resort village on the shore of Lake Michigan. I now own my own MCM home in southeastern Michigan where I live with my boyfriend and our two dogs. I've taken over one of our bedrooms with my studio.
I am on the board of directors for the North American Millinery Group which owns and hosts North America's premier millinery education event: Millinery Meet Up. I am also on the board of directors of the Michigan Folk School where I teach beginners blocking classes.
