"Diane I dont like it when flowers stick out. I usually sew a pin on the back so the flower will lean into the hat. If I need to I curl the stem to give it a finished look rather than letting it just hang there, I also add florist tape to my stems as…"

Profile Information

I Love Hats Because?
I love hats because they make everyone that wears them feel special. They make women stand out in a crowd and get noticed. They give women confidence and enthusiasm. Whether it's the sorting hat of Harry Potter fame or a brides headpiece all millinery seems to have some magic
About Me
I am a self taught milliner, I will try anything because I always learn something from my mistakes. I am so glad we live in the internet age where I can look up techniques, or watch a video. I have also learned a lot from the old millinery books in re-print. I try to always add something special to all my hats. After all my brand is Over the Top and I want each hat I produce to have some Over the Top qualities.
