Wonderful you found our website through You tube clips Jan. So pleased you have joined me in Hat Academy and hope you find it inspiring. I am committed to helping you add to your skills. With your experience you do have the basics of a successful milliner. We are featuring a hairdresser Cassy this week on Home page & Fb - she has found a new solution to a bad hair day = wear a hat. Cassy has excellent time management skills also.

I set this up to help Beginners -once you learn the basic techniques you will be surprised how creative you can be. Millinery is a creative art & in huge demand currently. Any questions do message me here.

Congratulations on starting your first lessons Jan. Glad you have chosen some of basics -it is important to grasp these to venture into designing. I am here to help you - just message me here with any small questions as important to get basics right. You will be ok with machining & hand sewing- 20yr olds struggle with that but any tech questions do connect.

To kick off make sure you have read through Getting Started and FAQs. Any questions on individual modules please ask by clicking "Lesson Discussions" located on the lesson video page.

Excited you have started this journey

Warning!! - it is addictive

Keep in touch, Elaine
