Profile Information

I Love Hats Because?
I Love the feeling of creating and wearing a special headpiece, I believe its an honour to be able to give other people the same opportunity to feel the elegance and beauty when adding a headpiece to their outfit. I Love hats because it gives me an opportunity to create and explore.
About Me
I am a busy mum, who works fulltime in a demanding and stressful job. I recently fell in love with millinery after trying to create a piece for the races. With little skills and a load of enthusiasm I set out trying to master the unknown. Creating one basic piece was enough to ignite my passion. I began to research courses and information, however nothing was available locally. I then stumbled across hat academy, which has given me the opportunity to learn tradition millinery techniques and the few pieces I have managed to created have highly exceeded my expectation. Thanks to Elaine and the hat academy I have found a rewarding and satisfying way to destress.
