Hi Eilish,

So glad you have enjoyed your first lesson. Bindings Lesson3 details edging with silk or satin , grosgrain and piping bind.

The braid binding is in next binding lesson  4. Yes I have sewn this by machine. This braid curves well and because of texture in braid stitching is lost within braid and hardly seen. I use braid mainly for Ready to wear as quicker and keeps price down. Years ago this was not acceptable but today milliners are doing it. Good range of colours in braids also. Hope you can find such there - if not I could give you a price on postage to Ireland Price in supplies includes postage within australia so may not be too much more.

If not confident with sinamay- lesson 1 is good starter and basis of a good hatinator. Re inner wiring -Wiring on inner circle makes it bulky but may give more control depending on how you want to twist, curl or pleat it.The hatinators in this lesson all sold for $440-$480 -very popular this season Come back to me if you have any more questions

Best wishes, Elaine
