How to: Advice or instructions to make fancy turban-like hat?

Can anyone help me with advice or instructions to make something similar to the below hat/turban?

Turbans are not as easy as they look. You would be best to have a block and/or a dolly and lots of draping skills. If you don't then you will waste a lot of time and become very frustrated. If you do then I would suggest having a go at a simple turban first then working your way up. This is a skill some people never master. Maybe Elaine has a class that could help or you could find some vintage millinery books that explain the process. It would be a lot to describe here.
