Hats add a sense of joy and style which come from few other items of wardrobe. I love the history, the artisanship, the energy, and the camaraderie.
About Me
I have been sneaking creativity in various forms into my life since I was in grade school, from learning to knit at 7, creating a paper-doll wardrobe for a stick and a piece of rubber before I was 10 to learning sewing, tailoring and flat pattern design from age 12 through college. I didn't find a way to blend creativity into my careers... until I learned millinery about 7 years ago. Then my father revealed that I have a great aunt Mabel who was a milliner in the mid-west U.S. in 1910. Although I never met her, she inspires me today.
