Tension when stitching brims
Hello Milliners,I need some help please.I am working on a brim at the moment and incasing a wire into the brim edge. The straight stitch on my sewing machine is very inconsistent. Could this be a tension issue?I've folded the brim edge over the wire, so technically sewing through 6 layers of sinamay. Note too sure if there is a recommended stitch length and tension for such a thick layer of material?Thank you in advance!See More
