You can be as creative as you want and its a fun way to stand out from the crowd at the races.
I live in Brisbane, studied Millinery at Mt Gravatt TAFE. Have completed a Certificate 3 and 4 in Millinery and am in the process of setting up my own little millinery business as a hobby on the side. I love making fun, stand-out headwear for the races and am nearly finished making my own website to showcase more of my pieces.
It was lovely to meet you at Harolds yesterday, Kate. I hope you find my site inspiring- there are some amazing milliners here globally. (check out Aniss from Sydney featured her a few weeks ago = WOW)
If you wish to add to your skills I am committed to helping you. Enjoy the great discussions on marketing also. Any questions do message me here I want to see your generation succeed in this business - I put 4 kids through uni by making hats from home here on Sunshine Coast. I have another 15-20 lessons to film but need more time to complete all the preparation. Pillboxes are one of my biggest sellers - I specialize in fabric usage as more fabric in the world than straw!
