I Love Hats Because?: I love fashion: The way fabric drapes on the human form, the delightful interplay of colour, texture, drape and movement, and the love and creativity shown in a well designed and made garment. Hats are a part of this, and they hold a special place in my heart because of their uniquely limitless design potential. They have the potential to bring a design to life: They give a 'look' a true voice capable of expressing wide range of ideas, feelings, attitudes and values. The more expressive they are the more I like them, although expressive does not always mean flashy. Of course, I also just plain love the feeling of wearing one. They make me feel complete in some way I can't express in words. They also make me feel connected to a long lineage of hat wearing women who took great pride in their grooming.(Raises a glass to her fellow hat lovers.)

About Me: I'm an artsy geek and a playful Buddhist with a passion for making things.I believe that happiness comes from appreciating life and being grateful for it, not from longing for something else.The best way I know to appreciate the world is to participate in it, and one fabulous way of doing that is to make things.Hats are particularly fun because they can say SO much!
