Meet Susana Mattanó, a University Professor in Visual Arts in Rosario, Argentina. Millinery the “Art of the Heart” caught her eye. Driven by her passion for needlecraft since her childhood and now her academic creative profile, Susa discovered Hat Academy online and completed the Millinery Essentials Course covering all the basic millinery skills.

Reading about the London Hat Week Susa was challenged to enter and compete with the best in the world. Three of her hats were accepted - one receiving 3rd place in the Public Prize in the 2018 Competition. Each contemporary female hat reflected the Argentine Gauchos cultural heritage and her styling was appreciated by the world.
