Am currently working with another Hat Academy member Christine Thompson and also milliner Rick McGill on the headwear for the new show 'King Kong, the musical'. We have a huge amount of work ahead of us, but are up for the challenge.

Puzzle blocks or five piece blocks are used when blocking berets and mad hatter crowns. The collar area is smaller than the width of the top of crown. To pull block out of blocked hat we need to remove block in stages. To ensure easy removal of five pieces here is a simple tip.
