- About Me
- Taipei-based designer Winnie Lin, worked in hat industry since 2005, launched herself as a milliner and specialised in making bespoke hats for theaters and private costumers in 2008. Lin won the Gold Medal in China's First International Hat Design Competition in 2013 and established her designer hat label "Winnie Lin Millinery" in 2015.
Lin enjoys exploring new possibilities and taking challenges in interdisciplinary arts with her millinery skills and her feminine characteristic. She has been dedicated in costume design for theatres since 2011. Her design for Hu Chia Dance theatre was showcased in 《COSTUME AT THE TURN OF THE CENTURY 1990-2015》 by OISTAT Costume Design Group in Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum in Moscow in 2015.

Wonderful you found our website winnie. So pleased you have joined me in Hat Academy and hope you find it inspiring. I am committed to helping you add to your skills.
I set this up to help Beginners but hope you find extra tips -once you learn the basic techniques you will be surprised how creative you can be. Millinery is a creative art & in huge demand currently. Any questions do message me here. In my 50yrs of making headwear there has been more innovation in the last 5 yrs taking milliners to a new level which is so exciting for our industry.
