- I Love Hats Because?
- I grew up watching the "hat parade" in church. Each Sunday, the older women, affectionately known as the "church mothers", would wear these beautiful, elegant, and sometimes, ornately adorned, hats. The "hat parade" inspired me first love affair with millinery. Hats bring out a certain and distinct elegance in the women that wear them.
- About Me
- I am a native and resident of Chicago and I absolutely enjoy wearing hats. I pursued an undergraduate degree in Fashion Design with the purpose of designing hats in mind. I had the wonderful opportunity to intern with a local and rising millinery star, where I was able to observe aspects of the craft. I have just began to actively pursue learning all I can about the millinery industry and its craft.

This is wonderful Rhonda that you are going to start on millinery again. It is such a creative Art and you can enjoy wearing them.We go to church (Baptist) each week but no one wears hats here. I hope you are inspired through the site and pick up new skills & techniques.
