They convey a sense of glamour that is mostly gone from modern dressing. Each outfit becomes a statement when you add a hat.
About Me
I've had a longtime interest in tailoring and design, and have always been a lover of hats. But it was only when I wanted to make a unique fascinator for an upcoming wedding that I began exploring millinery in earnest. My love of the discipline went far beyond that first fascinator, and I eventually completed a millinery certification from the School of Fashion at Toronto’s George Brown College. I've fallen in love with the blocking process and in particular, with luscious felts and malleable parasisal. I now sells my hats locally in Toronto and under the Mikado Millinery moniker on Etsy.
