I Love Hats Because?: My Mother was an apprentice Milliner at the age of 15 in Flinders Lane around 1941. She mainly pushed a broom around and delivered letters but the nasty old lady who owned the business let her make one hat. It sat at the back of the cabinet for months and months, my Mother always pushing it to the front. One day it sold and she was so proud. It was a small green felt hat with a green feather, her favourite colour. Not long after that the war broke out and she worked on the production line, never to make another hat. I always wanted to do it for her, and me!

About Me: I am a married Mum of 2 boys and a Tupperware Manager. Life's busy. I am also a dressmaker and crafter and always have been. I used to run a craft group too. Now with my business I don't get time to do much creative stuff. Want to get back into it again. Hat's it is!
