I Love Hats Because?: My very first item of headwear, as a newborn, was a close-fitting ribbon and net bonnet, designed to keep my curling ears in check. You’d think the enforced wearing of that little number would cause headwear phobia, but it had the opposite effect on me because I’ve never stopped wearing hats. Hats, caps, fascinators, bandeaux and hair clips of all descriptions are the cherry on the top of any outfit, from dog-walking get-ups to ball gowns. There’s also nothing like a ‘titfer’ for adding a dash of individuality and personal style to high street clothing.

About Me: I have designed and made headwear for all types of special occasions and gradually evolved a style which reflects my many interests and inspirations; my love of historical costume, vintage jewellery, antique embroideries and the infinite variety of form and colour in nature, particularly plant life and birds.
