I Love Hats Because?: It's genetic. My grandmother and her sister came from France and opened a millinery shop in South Dakota.

My mom and aunt were hat nuts and would spend hours at the hat salon in Dayton's department store in Minneapolis. Ladies sat at private tables with large mirrors and clerks brought them hats with feathers and flowers.

About Me: I am a lawyer and I live on a farm in Hampton, MN with my husband, Bouvier and Scottie. I still practice law part time but these days I spend most of time making hats and bridal pieces for my wonderful clients.
