- I Love Hats Because?
- Hats are elegant, tasteful, and beautiful. They finish - polish an outfit. I love being told that I look so good in my hat! I am, usually, the only one who is wearing a hat be it to church, events, or funerals... I feel great wearing a hat where ever I go. I believe, in some cases, covering your head is the correct, polite thing to do.
- About Me
- After being a wife and mother, I am a professional Tailor/Seamstress and National Educator. I am in the beginning stages of writing a book (or books) on sewing, styling, fashion and learning how to dress and accessorize. Owning my own business for over 40 years has been a personal joy. Embellishing hats to match particular outfits is something I have enjoyed for as long as I can remember. Dressing fashionably from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet is one of my passions! Fashion is second only to my love and passion for sewing!

Wonderful you found our website Linda. So pleased you have joined me in Hat Academy and hope you find it inspiring. I am committed to helping you add to your skills.Millinery is all about co-ordination and I teach milliners how to incorporate fabric in millinery as clients love it. This is how we did in in the 1960's. With your seamstress skills Millinery would be so easy for you.
I set his up to help Beginners -once you learn the basic techniques you will be surprised how creative you can be. Millinery is a creative art & in huge demand currently. Any questions do message me here.
