- I Love Hats Because?
- I’ve always loved hats and not only that they finish an outfit but most importantly how they can make you feel. After falling in love with racing fashion I decided to embrace my creative side and learn millinery. I love that every time I create a headpiece I always learn something new
- About Me
- My partner and I live on a cattle station in North West QLD. I enjoy working with different and unexpected materials which is why I love incorporating metallic cow hide in my designs - It embraces my rural upbringing, the industry that we work in and our “everyday life”. Living so remote has made it quite difficult to attend classes and schools due to distance and the cost involved with the travel however I have managed to attend one millinery forum and absolutely love the Hat Academy online lessons ❤️ The fact that I can access online tutorials from the best milliners in the world right at home in my studio and work at my own pace is just magic

Such beautiful work Katrina. I also live in Western Queensland and have found the Hat Academy to be fantastic...so good to be able to learn a skill you love without having to travel!
