- I Love Hats Because?
- I started historic costuming about 10 years ago. I took a Civil War bonnet class and used many of those techniques to make other pieced period hats. I like the way a hat pulls a whole outfit together. Finishes it actually. We are swimming in hats here and would like to find homes for some of them.
- About Me
- I am fortunate to have had tons of life experiences. The one I am in now is a "retired" person active in community and regional organizations and causes. I consider myself an artist since I do make our period costume and hats as well as crocheted items. Right now everything else seems to be taking precedence. And I don't like it much and want to get back to it all. Inspiration is needed.
