- I have always sewn and now I am retired I have the time to learn to make hats, a craft I have always admired. My daughter embroiders so together we are embarking on a new learning curve.

Lovely you have joined me in HatAcademy, Diane. I hope you find it inspiring as I am committed to helping you learn these skills. Once you learn the basic techniques you will surprise yourself how creative you can be.
Combining with embroidery sounds very exciting. Creating a unique look is what helps to attract customers. I put 4 children through Uni by making hats & headwear from home.
I am committed to helping you both achieve- any questions message me here. This is a lovely craft to do together & in huge demand at the moment. I have known the highs & lows of the trade since 1960s & we are on a high at the moment.
