I Love Hats Because?: I don't actually wear hats myself, as I don't think they suit me, however I love hats and I've been making fascinators and decorating hats for many years for my daughter - who looks great in any hat. I bring in all the ones I have made previously each year to where I work on Melbourne Cup Day so my co-workers get to wear them for our special lunch.

About Me: I have never received any specific millinery training, but have a craft background, and used to have a art and craft shop. I also used to teacher craft and design to both students (I used to teach) and give adult classes at my shop. I began making fascinators a number of years ago when my daughter wanted one to match an outfit and couldn't find what she wanted in any shops - it has grown from there. My difficulty is buying millinery products in Perth Western Australia - I do not know of anywhere that sells them.
