"I grow fancy chickens for their feathers.  I do not use  large plumes but sew small individual feathers onto a backing to make hat bands, headbands, feathered lei, etc..  See above for washing and killing mites.  You can also use…"

These are the three blocks you need to start. John was selling Brim for $160 ,Dome Crown $120 and collar $25 (Darker head size disc.) I will contact him to see what he has left. What is your head size- just pass tape over brow & largest bump at back of head tuck your small finger under to give you size you need so not too tight.
