I Love Hats Because?: They are amazing, hats can change how you feel and look. Hats can be practical, beautiful and flattering to the human face. I love making them. I also enjoy learning about the history of hats through the ages, in particular the 1850's.

About Me: I studied cert IV millinery at Kangan Institute in Melbourne. Serena Lindeman, Melissa Jackson and the late Paris Kyne being my main tutors. Since finishing I have continued my millinery education by doing a wide variety of workshops with amazing highly skilled milliners, such as Eliza Stedman, Phillip Rhodes, Serena & Waltraud. I have also been very lucky to be able to do one day workshops with some international milliners, Jane Taylor, Ian Bennett and Lina Stein. I am married with Three adult children, live on 20 acres in rural Victoria. Work 4days per week at Federation University. Hope to become a full time milliner in the near future.

I set this up to help Beginners but hope you pick up extra tips -once you learn the basic techniques you will be surprised how creative you can be. Millinery is a creative art & in huge demand currently. Saddened by Paris' passing also. Any questions do message me here.
