This fabulous fedora was created on a one-of-a-kind hat block, and is reminiscent of those wonderful tilt hats from the late 1930s & 1940s.

The hat is constructed out of a single piece of red wool felt. The crown is shaped so that it slopes forward, and the brim is wired. The sides of the crown are encircled with a piece of antique woven black & white ribbon. The hat is covered with black vintage veiling, which is gathered at the back of the hat, and the ends of which hang down decoratively. A cluster of antique white rooster feathers covered in rhinestones & mock pearls completes this beautiful chapeau.
