A beautiful reproduction of a Fez style hat from the 1930s. It is hand blocked and sewn from a vintage wool felt Italian hood. The shape is very unusual but typical of the era.

The color of the felt is a marsala wine and the embossed areas of the hat are outlined with vintage velvet piping in royal purple.

The focal point of the hat is the vintage grapevine accent all made in velvet. The grapes and leaves are a rich green highlighted in the same two colors of the hat, marsala wine and royal purple.

The hat is fully lined in satin and it has a grosgrain band.

If you want to wear it down on the head it has a headsize opening of 21 1/2" but it can also be worn atop of the head as it has an elastic band which goes around the back of the head and under the hair to secure it to the head as well as a comb on the one side for even more security.
