This is a straw reproduction of a Victorian / Edwardian boater style hat formed from a vintage Italian straw hood. The base of the hat is a light yellow straw with a bound grosgrain edge underneath the brim.

The crown and the brim are encircled with a ruffled light mustard yellow picot edged ribbon and a chenille/straw trim.

The flowers are a combination of handmade and vintage flowers in various yellow combinations.

The feathers are in a wing configuration and are flanked by mustard colored veiling bows.

The overall look is quite charming especially when worn at a forward tilt.

The hat is held onto the head with combs that can be placed in one, two, or three areas. If you would also like an elastic band please let me know upon purchase so I can add it before shipping.

The hat is lined in satin.

Fits most head sizes as it sits on top of the head.
