A lovely sun or picture hat of very pale peach straw. The hat is trimmed with vintage 1950s wide crin bow and large matching crin flower. Great Kentucky Derby hat or for a nice garden party, wedding, or church.

This hat is based on the 1920s or 1930s Downton Abbey style.

As part of the trimming a huge flower was made from vintage crin (horsehair) using the techniques from my craft book "Creating with Crin" The flower is backed by soft peach handmade ribbon leaves, crin curls, and a large crin bow.

The brim is edged with silk grosgrain ribbon in a matching soft peach color. The crown band matches the large crin flower.

The hat is made from a vintage wide straw Italian cartwheel with a pretty leaf pattern woven into the straw. The brim has been wired so it will keep its shape.


Headsize opening fits 23 1/4" to 23 3/4" Model is size 23 1/4" The hat is unlined but has a grosgrain band.
