EQUIPMENT
› Block a brim using 1/2 metre of light coloured straw eg. cream or white or pale pink. + panel of darker straw from scraps.
› Block & bind a narrow brim 7 -9cm wide to stitch in heavy cotton knitting thread of contrast colour- eg black brim with white thread. Block but do not wire a brim to embroider with contrast heavy cotton thread.
