Hello

               I have never blocked an upturn brim in Melusine and not quite sure how to tackle it as wanted to avoid wiring the brim just wanted a clean cut finish?  

As the hoods have such lovely loose fibres I am hesitant to stiffen the brim with water based stiffener (PVAtype) in case ruins the fibres and makes it claggy and leaves the dreaded white stains, does anyone have any advice, has any one used the felt & Straw stiffener on the Melusine?  Or any related advice or tips would be much appreciated.  Its a cheater print Melusine felt and expensive am really worrying incase I ruin it and need to figure out the best way to tackle.
