Start up machines?
I'm looking into getting a setup for my sweat bands. Does anyone have any clue where to start looking? Ebay proves to be ineffective and my local antique shops tend to not supply sewing machines at all. Not even Singer 99's! I don't like the ASM 1107 clone they sound like electric staplers going off.

I'm lucky to have a local design incubator in my town that is supplied with industrial sewing machines that I can use for $20/day. Have a look at cylinder or post bed machines. We have Kingmax.
