Hi milliners

Does anyone know how to get a  finish on a sinamay brim edge without using sinamay bias binding or any separate binding please? I want to block a cartwheel sinamay brim but don’t want to use a separate binding on the edge. I have thought about folding the edge underneath the brim but think this will be unsightly. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
