I’m repurposing a veil for a bride - using her mother’s headpiece. The veiling was quite discolored, and I was able to pull the color back to it’s original shade; however, now I’m having the most difficult time getting all the wrinkles out. I have steamed, ironed with protective cloth, ironed direct on low setting, soaked in hot water and hung using some weight to try and get to dry with less wrinkles and repeated again. It’s better, but still not ideal. Any suggestions you have will be greatly appreciated!!
