Hi ladies just wondering about the hat wire that Rebeca Share is using, she advisers 18gauge but not quite sure what that is here in England as we use 1.2mm hard 1.0mm hard, could anyone advise?

The quality of wire used for headbands in Rebecca's lessons are such that the only way it can be bent is with pliers. You will need to use the equivalent strength to ensure the band sits firmly on the head and does not buckle with weight of hat or adornment. Here in Au we even have Gauge 14 which internally is a copper wire then cotton covered. Buy the strongest possible. Hoping someone in UK can advise you from their experience  :)

Hi Dominique,

There are conversion charts online for gauge to mm, It is 1mm wire.
