hat block front/back
Is the hat size number on the bottom of a hat block the front or back of the hat?

Hi Sheila
Normally I place the size stamp at the front of the block. The crown blocks all have centre front, back and sides marked. In the case of full domes, there really is not front or back. But the marks do help in placing cuts, joins in the lining or head bands and help position embellishments.
