I have a problem with brim of felt hat. I need to sewing the end of brim (grey color on the pic), but it is too large specially if I used thick fur felt. My sewing machine can't sew it. How should I sewing it correctly?

If you are going to use the heavier beaver fur felts you really need a commercial machine to sew the edge. Some milliners use a bootmakers sewing  machine. Due to the width of the brim and you need to bend it using a regular machine your wire could kink but if you use a reed instead it will bounce back. Using a domestic sewing machine on such thick felt always use a leather needle as they are stronger & if your machine has a low gear use that as it slows motor but powers it up to penetrate the felt.
