I Love Hats Because?
After spending time up and down the country on millinery courses I decided to launch my collection for Spring 2016 on Etsy. Rose Cory the late Queen Mother's milliner has been teaching me and I must say, I look forward to spending time with her. Edwina Ibbotson and Louise Brooks have also taught me a lot of millinery skills.

I'm crazy about hats and the process, I can work all day and night blocking hats, hand stitching brims and trimmings. I love choosing my fabrics especially Silk and Lace, I spend time with millinery suppliers choosing my fur & wool felts, Parasisals, Sinamays and hat trimmings. I am like a young child in a sweetie shop, I love the whole process. When I make a hat I want to keep it but I know I already have a collection, I find it hard to let go of a beautiful creation sometimes and I hope you will feel the same when you own one.

HATS WITH ATTITUDE By Lucille, M I l l i n e r y London UK
About Me
Lucille, trained as an actress gaining her diploma at LAMDA and a BA (HONS) Degree in the UK. She enjoys all forms of art and paints in all mediums. Lucille also takes artists to INDIA to paint, usually in October/November, a journey that starts in Amritsar Northern India and ends in the Himalayas.

Lucy, as she likes to be called - has a huge passion for anything artistic. She loves textiles and vibriant colours with sequins, beads and anything that will make a fabulous statement on one of her hats. Lucy's artistic disaplines have played a huge part in her millinery vision and skills.

I find millinery another way to express my artistic flair and bring a glamorous feminine attitude to all who wear my hats. It is important for me to use the traditional method of millinery and that is why I chose to train with Rose Cory…
