I have always loved hats, always worn them, even when they were not in fashion for my age or demographic! Hats have the character, romance,femininity, mystique and unique appeal of a bygone era. I am a nostalgia buff. I love everything from earlier times - the values, the styles, the attention to detail, the care and pride of workmanship. I miss the days when ladies wore hats and gloves, and men wore hats and took them off to be respectful or gallant. I miss the age where manners and etiquette underscored every aspect of life and hats seem to embody the charm of those days. For me, hats are fun and practical.
