This is wonderful you are wanting to learn millinery Joy. I made my first hat in 1964 & now letting out all trade secrets here. Students from around the world are learning here as you can recap on lessons as you have them for life. I do teach @ Qld Museum Toowoomba Cobb & Co but a weekend course is $300+ -next one on 31st plus 10 day @ USQ Toowoomba in January -McGregor Summer school. If you need links to these get back to me. If you have basic sewing skills you will be surprised @ outcome. This student started just 12 mths ago online & has a great business now www.bellindahaase.com
This is best starter as teaches you the basics with straw & trims then you can go onto headpieces & cocktails. Chat to me if you need to - I live on Sunshine Coast & my brother lives @ Cleveland.
Enjoy, Elaine
