felt hat ribbon binding with single binder for sewing machine
HiI just bought a single binder for my sewing machine.I taped it on because I have no screws on the bed of the machine.I have stretched the ribbon on a stretcher block ready for the felt hat.I cannot seem to get the ribbon to sew on straight on the felt hat. The stitching and ribbon are not going on straight.Would anyone have any ideas on what to do?ThanksSee More

Hunting for the right dies can take some time though. I've found that it can easily cut through EVA foam and leather. I haven't tried fabric yet but am…"
"Very light fabrics will need to be ironed to freezer paper first.
Leather, etc all fine including balsa wood and metal. All have to be less than 3mm thick.
Will play in the next couple of days, first I have to do a software update."
"I'm not sure about chiffon. I am going to buy some chiffon soon and try it. The mats are sticky so maybe that will be enough to hold it???"
