Oh yes this was large and went on a hat for a client. I make these all the time in various sizes. What size were you after?

8 or 9 inches.  My first attempt below ... its just too flat

Being a flat flower is not a bad thing as it is what brides like. They do not like them poking out with lots of bulk on side of head. Rose on Hatinator below is large but purposely kept flat so it does not look like lamp on miners helmet!!  Maybe add another petal on bottom edge where there is a gap. Do not discard :)  Being such large petals it is hard to get a deep curve when you plunge cup head at base to mould.
