Hi Lynda, I look at your pictures often and am very inspired! Just started working with Jinsin and loved your tip about soaking in water, I can find very little on the web about working with that great stuff. And yes, I did notice breakage and shedding of the straw!  When I get a photo I will show you. I might try the stripe thing that you did.

Now for this piece.....I love the effect of the crin petals. Any advice on that?  I know millinery secrets are quite sacred, so I understand if you can't share. As an amateur I love being able to look to the pros for inspiration!
