"THE CLUB STAND: My millinery designs often embrace a structural flair that's undeniably inspired by the world of architecture. Thus, I was drawn to the fact that the architects of the VRC Club Stand drew inspiration from the world of racewear millinery, the racetrack, and the gardens.

I wished to mirror this inspiration by reflecting on the club stand and racetrack within this piece, emphasising the graceful curvature shapes and layered tiers.

Various materials were used to highlight the silhouette and reflect my millinery practices such as infusing vintage materials and others from my travels, each with a story of its own." Felicity Northeast
