Andrea Cainero - Millinery Award
Andrea’s entry into the 2023 Lillian Frank AM MBE Millinery Award is inspired by the feeling of lightness. The sense of being whisked away in the wind and the playful rhythm that’s created by that movement. Focusing on the romanticism of spring, and drawing on her career in couture and fashion, she has showcased sustainability through the use of deadstock lace motifs complimented by the artisan french technique of tambour beading which originated in Luneville, France.
