I Love Hats Because?

I began felting and decided that this was a great craft but wanted to be able to use what I had produced.was I had always beena lover of hats. I had always worn them on a regular basis. They had been part of my life for as long as I can remember - as a small child, hats for church, as part of my school uniform and then my career began. I was in sales many years ago and found that my hats became my trademark and were an advantage as clients remembered me. When I started wet felting and really enjoyed it, it seemed a natural progression to make hats. Then I tried with sinamay and that was it, I was well and truly hooked. Different materials and different ideas and so creative and great fun. What’s not to love?

About Me

Tricia McDonnell, age 65 and now retired. Loving life and loving learning new skills. I have always been arty and enjoyed creating. I spent many years in interior design. Now I can be indulgent with myself and am enjoying attending workshops and honing skills learnt
